Thank you

Dear AVEC’22 participants,

I would like to thank you for attending our 15th International Symposium on Advanced Vehicle Control, AVEC’22.

The symposium is over and we believe that during these four days, we all had great opportunities to meet old and new AVEC friends, and insightful interactive discussions among them.

I am grateful that we had an exclusive opportunity to hear the four plenaries connected with the theme of the AVEC’s 30th anniversary,
温故知新: “learning lessons from the past and developing new ideas”. I am also delighted to hear presentations on new ideas and works. All the plenaries and presentations were excellent and could help connect with past, present, and future technologies for advancing the Vehicle Dynamics & Control workforce.
I am also very grateful to all those who have worked so diligently to make this symposium a great success. This teamwork has enabled us to further strengthen the sense of community among “Dynamicists”, and beyond.

I would also like to say an enormous thank you to our sponsors and supporting organizations for the generosity of their support. Without their enthusiastic contribution, AVEC’22 would not be possible.

Since AVEC is a biennial event, I hope to see you all at the next AVEC in 2024, in Italy.

 Thank you.

AVEC’22 General Chair
Professor Hideo Inoue
